The main goal of a company in industrial services is to improve product quality for the consumers by means of pursuing their services quality which are dependent on consumers needs. To fulfill students’ increasing requirements, the Adam Kurniawan Library ought to improve its services quality. To achieve it, the Adam Kurniawan Library Management carries out direct student interview and distributing questionnaire in order to monitor its services quality. The direct approach to students is to observe the behavior and other factor affecting the interest and satisfaction of student related to library quality service. Based on background above, Quality Function method is used in this research in order to make a planning for improvement of the quality service to fulfill the student needs and demand. Based on the analysis and construct House of Quality, is obtained the attribute to be concern for prioritize to improve the quality service in the Adam Kurniawan Library based on Importance to Customer is attribute The library provides research books, lesson books, journal research and magazine/newspaper relevant to my need (3,91), based on normalize raw weight is Quality and availability of Wi-Fi/internet, computers and printer, and sockets are satisfying (7,308), and based on target technical response is Giving the librarian training customer service skill (0,237).

Operator is the most important part of the company to do production activity. Performance of operator determine the level of productivity of a company. It required the application of ergonomic science in each of the lives of the operators in the production activities. To evaluate if the application of ergonomic have correlation and how big the correlation, need evaluation to every operator that do production activity in that company. Finaly, it can be seen from the results of the evaluation of the effect is there and how big correlation in improving the production level of a company.

PT.X merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi Alumunium Sulfat, yang bahan baku utamanya adalah Alumunium. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh perusahaan ini adalah dalam hal penentuan bahan baku yang terkadang mengalami perbedaan antara jumlah pembelian dan penggunaan bahan baku Alumunium sehingga mengalami kekurangan persediaan bahan baku. Terjadinya kekurangan persediaan bahan baku (Stock Out) atau tidak adanya bahan baku pada saat dibutuhkan dapat menyebabkan jalannya aktivitas produksi terhenti, sehingga hal ini merupakan salah satu faktor kerugian bagi perusahaan. Data penelitian ini didapatkan dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi, pengolahan data dengan cara uji peramalan dan menggunakan metode EOQ (Economic Order Quantity). Perencanaan kebutuhan bahan baku sifatnya tidak konstan sehingga dengan metode ini akan dihasilkan perencanaan jumlah pemesanan yang optimal sehingga biaya pemesanan dan biaya penyimpanan yang ditanggung perusahaan menjadi minimal. Dari hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode EOQ, pada tahun 2011 perusahaan dapat menghasilkan total biaya sebesar Rp 14.688.861.065,00 dan menghasilkan efisiensi penghematan sebesar Rp 137.598.460,00 dibandingkan dengan total biaya sebelumnya yaitu sebesar Rp 14.826.459.525,00 sedangkan pada tahun 2012 perusahaan dapat menghasilkan total biaya sebesar Rp 16.434.014.147,00 dan menghasilkan efisiensi penghematan sebesar Rp 115.784.730,00 dibandingkan dengan total biaya sebelumnya yaitu sebesar Rp 16.549.798.875,00
