<description>THE INFLUENCE OF WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT TOWARD PROFITABILITY (STUDY IN RETAIL COMPANIES LISTING IN INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, AND SINGAPORE EXCHANGE IN PERIOD 2014-2016)
Kumala, Indah Suciati; Setyarini Santosa
This research objective is to identify the influence of average age of inventory (AAI), average collection period (ACP), average payment period (APP), current ratio (CR) toward profitability proxied by ROA of retail companies in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. This study has applied purposive sampling method and panel data where the data was collected from the official websites of IDX, MSE, and SGX in three years. An empirical evidence of this research indicates that AAI and ACP has significantly influence toward ROA in all research areas. However, APP has a positive insignificant effect to ROA in Singapore, while in Indonesia and Malaysia has negative insignificant effect to ROA. CR has the negative insignificant impact to ROA in Singapore, but negative significant in Indonesia and Malaysia. It shows that the profitability greatly influenced by the average age of inventory and collection period in all research areas.

<description>Factors That Affect the Disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility in Real Estate Company Listed in IDX for 2013-2016
Christy, Yustina; Setyarini Santosa
This research objective is to identify the factors that affect the Disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the annual report by examining several factors like profitability, leverage, age, commissioner size, and company age. This research is using quantitative method with multiple regression. The research took 41 real estate company listed in the IDX with 164 observations from year 2013 until 2016. This study shows that company’s size and leverage have a positive effect on the disclosure of CSR. There is not any effect of profitability, commissioner size and company’s size on the disclosure of social responsibility

<title>RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BRAND JEALOUSY AND CONSPICUOUS CONSUMPTION</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/10639</link>
<description>RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BRAND JEALOUSY AND CONSPICUOUS CONSUMPTION
Chairy; Jhanghiz Syahrivar
Brand Jealousy is one of the most important constructs in marketing yet it gains little attention from researchers. Previous&#13;
research showed that this variable is the predictor of behavioral intention such as intention to buy a product. This research&#13;
investigated whether brand jealousy affected conspicuous consumption. This research also found out the role of materialism in&#13;
the relationship between brand jealousy and conspicuous consumption. Using regression analysis, this study revealed the&#13;
positive and significant effect of brand jealousy on conspicuous consumption. On the other hand, moderation analysis showed&#13;
that materialism did not moderate the relationship between brand jealousy and conspicuous consumption. The resut of this&#13;
research is expected to give a guideline for marketers in designing their marketing strategy.

<title>PRELIMINARY RESULTS: SIMPLE MODEL OF EVOLUTIONARY DYNAMIC ON INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE IN MOSQUITO</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/4184</link>
<description>PRELIMINARY RESULTS: SIMPLE MODEL OF EVOLUTIONARY DYNAMIC ON INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE IN MOSQUITO
Suandi, Dani; Edwin Setiawan Nugraha; Kuntjoro Adji Sidarto; Edy Soewono
The information on insecticide resistance in mosquitoes as diseases vectors is a critical&#13;
issue for the success of mosquito population control. This is because the resistance can reduce&#13;
the effectiveness of insecticides. Based on the resistance level to insecticides, the mosquitoes are&#13;
divided into susceptible and resistant groups. Genetically, the existence of susceptible and&#13;
resistant mosquitoes are determined by the frequency of alleles. In this paper, a dynamical model&#13;
is constructed based on the genetic information to observe the effect of selection by exposure to&#13;
insecticides. The model is a two-dimensional nonlinear differential equation system. In the&#13;
analysis of this mathematical model, we consider two important factors in the evolution of&#13;
resistance, i.e., the fitness value and the effectiveness of the insecticide. The condition of&#13;
coexistence and stability are obtained here. The simulations are performed to illustrate the effect&#13;
of insecticide usage continuously on mosquito resistance. Based on analysis and simulation, the&#13;
fitness value of intermediate mosquitoes plays an essential role in maintaining the coexistence&#13;
of the mosquito population. Furthermore, the resistant mosquitoes increases significantly&#13;
following the pattern of increasing the dose of exposure to insecticides.
