dc.description.abstract The change of civilization is not unstoppable with the development of a very significant in the field of technology. The civilization and lifestyle of society have changed. From conventional mode of communication turns to digital. The digital era breakthrough space and time limits. Individual or company will have to follow the era of change. Insurance company as one of the business field that also feel the change. From the way conventional sales and transaction insurance door to door, face to face, and make the document in physical form turned into electronic with marketing through the website. Therefore, Author conduct this research with the title “Juridical Analysis of Legality And Consumer Protection on Life Insurance Electronic Policy Under Indonesian Regulations”. With purposes of identifying the problem of legality and consumer protection on life insurance electronic policy under Indonesian regulations. This research used library method, with the data source is the primary and secondary data of the insurance company. Several other legislation and regulations have been made by the government to provide legal certainty for changes from conventional systems to digitalization, among others; Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata, Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Dagang , Law No.2 of 1992 on Insurance Business, Law No.40 of 2014 on Insurance, Law No.11 of 2008 with its amendment Law No.19 of 2016 on Information and Electronic Transaction, Law No.8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, Government Regulation No.82 Tahun 2012 on Implementation of System and Electronic Transaction, Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan No.23/POJK.05/2015 on Produk Asuransi dan Pemasaran Produk Asuransi, Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan No.1/POJK.07/2013 on Perlindungan Konsumen Sektor Jasa Keuangan. Based on data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that the change of communication technology from conventional into digital in the field of insurance business requires the existence of laws and other regulations that regulate more detail about issuance of electronic policy, so that consumer as legal subject in the electronic policy will have clear and transparent legal certainty, all rights and obligations are clearly stated so that consumers feel comfortable with all forms of electronic transactions. en_US
