Abstract:
The purpose of this project is to do rebranding of Ucok Durian Medan for becoming a well known local brand in Indonesia. This project is made because of Ucok Durian still does not have strong brand such as the logo, brand identity, packaging, and media promotions. Most of customers are difficult to distinguish Ucok Durian’s logo among others. Beside it, Ucok Durian does not use the corporate colors which are yellow and green consistently. Then, Ucok Durian’s packaging is not attractive among others. The last but not least, Ucok Durian does not have any media promotions to promote their product; it only let the customers to promote Ucok Durian. The research findings are redesigning the logo, creating brand identity for consistently corporate colors use, redesigning the packaging design be more attractive and creating media promotions design can help Ucok Durian for becoming a well known local brand business in Indonesia. The limitation of this project is it just doing the rebranding activity that related to Visual Communication Design study.
