SOUND TEST AUTOMATION WITH ARDUINO MEGA 2560
Paramita, Kartika
At PT. X, there are several tests to check the quality of their product. One of the tests is sound testing and applied for electronic product, which produce sound. The test is done for about a thousand times every month and done manually by the operators. Every operator handle about six products, they push the button of the product and then hear the sound come out from it, then make a check list on the paper until a thousand times. PT. X not considered this type of testing as dangerous, however, the task will create a fatigue due to repetitive movements and hearing noises (sound coming from the products) for hours. From these points of view, the idea to design and to implement a “Sound Tester Automation” came up. This final project concentrates in designing the hardware and the software that will work as an integrated system of circuit that has the sound analyzer function. The circuit also has other function which is the press button automation. Through those function, the user of the circuit will be able to adjust the length of time of the sound and adjust the counter for the press button automation. Both sound analyzer and press button automation functions are combined to work together. Hence, when the sound analyzer works, then it will send signal to the microcontroller, if the sound is on then the press button automation continue to work, but if the sound is off, then the buzzer will turn on and the LCD will show a sign.

PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT FOR WATER DEMINERALIZATION CONTROL SYSTEM USING SIEMENS PLC AND WONDERWARE INTOUCH IN PT. X
Adie, Lukas Prakoso
Water demineralization plant holds an important role for the production process in PT. X, Indonesia. It produces pure water (H2O) and the pure water will be used as a basic ingredient for all production processes. However, the current control system is ineffective to control the production cycle and maintain the state of the instruments. Therefore, this final project proposes a new control system to improve and optimize the performance of every cycle in the water demineralization plant. The proposed control system will be optimized in regulating and monitoring the system, which consists of actuators and measuring instruments through a human machine interface (HMI). Furthermore, it is capable to indicate the condition of the instruments whether they are functioning properly. A simulation software is developed to test and present illustrations of the proposed new control system.

FAN CONTROL USING ARDUINO MEGA 2560
Gunstanto, Edwin
There are some tools that can be used to influence the air temperature to be more comfortable, such as: fan, air conditioner, etc. In the industrial case, fan is preferred to be used as a tool to improve the working comfort in the worker’s area because the price of a fan is cheaper than the price of an air conditioner.During the internship conducted by the author in an automotive company, many of the fans are broken for so many times due to extensive use without rest.
From these points of view, the idea to design and to implement a “Fan Control Using Arduino Mega 2560” came up. This final project emphasizes in designing the hardware and the software that will work as an integrated system in the form of a circuit that will control the fan. Through the controller, the auto on-off fan can be realized based on human presence. An infrared sensor is used to control the state of the fan. The fan will be on if there is human presence. The other task of the control system is to control the rotation speed of the fan based on the air temperature. The testresults of the whole functions show that thefan control using Arduino Mega 2560circuit can operate well and fulfil the preset objectives.
