<description>ENHANCING ECONOMIC STABILITY THROUGH INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE U.S.-OMAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT IN DIVERSIFYING OMAN'S ECONOMIC IN NON-OIL SECTOR
Patricia, Berlian
This article analyzes Oman's diversification efforts in the non-oil sector in the free trade&#13;
agreement (FTA) with the U.S. by using the concept of international cooperation to analyze the&#13;
objectives of each country and the benefits gained by each country in the agreement. Seeking&#13;
to reduce its dependency on oil exports and imports, Oman signed a free trade agreement with&#13;
the U.S. to revive its textile and apparel industry, which had been decimated by the elimination&#13;
of quotas. The implementation of the FTA especially focusing on the yarn-forward rule of&#13;
origin will be scrutinized as an effort to diversify Oman's economy through the FTA with the&#13;
U.S. Oman's strategic geography also makes it one of the US's efforts to implement this free&#13;
trade agreement which is in line with Bush's goal to develop a spreading economic growth&#13;
ambition and strengthening democracy promotion in the Middle East. Although tariff reduction&#13;
is not the primary focus of this FTA, there has been an increase in US-Oman export activities&#13;
during the period from 2014 to 2017.

<title>ELDERLY REVOLUTIONS AT PANTI SOSIAL GERBANG EMAS ANAK RAJA PEMULIHAN</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/13160</link>
<description>ELDERLY REVOLUTIONS AT PANTI SOSIAL GERBANG EMAS ANAK RAJA PEMULIHAN
Devita, Zefanya Christa
In this increasingly advanced world, prioritizing health and well-being is of the utmost importance.&#13;
In fact, in Indonesia, especially for the elderly population, these basic needs have not been met&#13;
evenly. To overcome this, we initiated the "Elderly Revolution" at the "Children's Golden Gate&#13;
Social Institute". This movement aims to improve preventive health services by educating the&#13;
elderly about the use of basic health equipment, reducing the risk of disease, and empowering the&#13;
elderly to live healthy lives. SDG number 3, which aims to improve people's welfare and health,&#13;
encourages us students as implementers in the program set by the international organization.&#13;
Achieving universal health coverage and reducing deaths from non-communicable diseases and&#13;
improving mental health are some of the main pillars in SDG number 3 in Indonesia. . The Elderly&#13;
Revolution was implemented in Poponcol Kidul, Karawang Kulon, West Karawang, Karawang&#13;
Regency, West Java Province and targeted 18 elderly residents of the "Panti Social Gate Emas&#13;
Anak Raja Recovery" in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in special Goal 3 on&#13;
Health and Welfare, and the concept of Social Determinants of Health a theory that can explain&#13;
the role of social factors in determining disparities in human health and well-being in the 21st&#13;
century, our efforts will offer education, consultations, and training sessions. These efforts are&#13;
carried out through implementing community development projects, collaboration with health&#13;
experts, and interactive method approaches. To measure our success, there are three determining&#13;
factors, namely increasing understanding about healthy living, increasing understanding about the&#13;
use of basic health tools, and input from target participants. By empowering seniors with&#13;
knowledge about healthy living practices and training in the use of medical equipment for&#13;
caregivers, we can uphold their right to basic health services, improving their well-being&#13;
indefinitely.

<title>THE OBSTACLES OF BILATERAL COOPERATION BETWEEN INDONESIA-NORWAY IN REDUCING EMISSIONS FROM DEFORESTATION AND FOREST DEGRADATION (REDD+) PROGRAM FROM 2017-2021</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/13158</link>
<description>THE OBSTACLES OF BILATERAL COOPERATION BETWEEN INDONESIA-NORWAY IN REDUCING EMISSIONS FROM DEFORESTATION AND FOREST DEGRADATION (REDD+) PROGRAM FROM 2017-2021
Putri, Zamharirah Sang
Indonesia and Norway have been cooperating in the REDD+ sector. This&#13;
cooperation aims to reduce the level of deforestation that will affect the global&#13;
climate. The author of this research uses a descriptive qualitative method whose&#13;
main focus is literature study from various sources, including books, journals, and&#13;
documents, as well as official websites of relevant ministries and institutions, for&#13;
data processing, and data analysis according to the research topic. The author&#13;
utilizes the theory of international relations, namely realism and utilizes the concept&#13;
of relative gains to comprehensively answer the obstacles or challenges in the&#13;
process of bilateral environmental cooperation between Indonesia and Norway,&#13;
especially in the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation&#13;
(REDD+) program which runs from 2017 to 2021. The results of this study, the&#13;
author found that Norway did not realize the Result Based Payment (RBP) of 530&#13;
million krona or USD 56 million, equivalent to IDR 813 billion, for Indonesia's&#13;
success in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 11.2 million tons CO2eq because&#13;
according to the Norwegian Government, the measurement of carbon emissions by&#13;
Indonesia is different from the measurement results of the Norwegian Government.&#13;
On the other hand, the Government of Indonesia considers that the Government of&#13;
Norway does not carry out procedural compliance and substantive compliance. In&#13;
addition, the Norwegian government gave many requirements because the&#13;
Indonesian government violated Indonesia's basic principles and was not in&#13;
accordance with the initial agreement. So that the agreement commitments of these&#13;
two countries cannot be implemented properly.
