<description>INDONESIA EDUCATION DIPLOMACY: CASE STUDY OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DEVELOPING COUNTRY PARTNERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IN THE INDONESIAN EMBASSY IN SENEGAL 2021 – 2024
Maududi, Afif
Indonesia’s educational diplomacy plays an important role in strengthening&#13;
international relations, especially through the Developing Country Partnership&#13;
Scholarship (KNB). This program, which targets developing countries, such as in&#13;
West Africa, facilitates cultural and academic exchanges, builds a positive image of&#13;
Indonesia, and creates professional networks. The Indonesian Embassy in Dakar&#13;
plays a strategic role in promoting this scholarship to strengthen bilateral relations.&#13;
By supporting educational initiatives, Indonesia increases its influence on the&#13;
international stage through soft power diplomacy that includes research&#13;
collaboration, training, and global development. This study uses qualitative&#13;
methods to understand educational diplomacy through the KNB scholarship at the&#13;
Indonesian Embassy in Dakar. Primary data were obtained from interviews, while&#13;
secondary data came from official documents and literature. Data collection&#13;
techniques include documentation and library studies. The analysis used includes&#13;
classification, reduction, and interpretation of data to explore deeper meanings from&#13;
the information collected, supporting arguments based on theoretical concepts. The&#13;
results of this study are that the Indonesian Embassy in Dakar plays an important&#13;
role in educational diplomacy through the KNB scholarship program, including&#13;
promotion, selection, and support for recipients. This program strengthens&#13;
Indonesia’s relations with accredited countries in Africa, building influence through&#13;
alumni as informal ambassadors. Despite challenges such as language barriers and&#13;
limited resources, the Indonesian Embassy in Dakar continues to increase&#13;
institutional and alumni involvement, and align programs with the development&#13;
goals of recipient countries. KNB Scholarships strengthen Indonesia's positive&#13;
image in the world, promote south-south cooperation, and encourage international&#13;
collaboration.

<title>DEVELOPING THE AWARENESS OF SEX EDUCATION IN PREVENTING SEXUAL HARASSMENT AGAINST MALE STUDENTS IN SMPN 1 PURWAKARTA</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/13579</link>
<description>DEVELOPING THE AWARENESS OF SEX EDUCATION IN PREVENTING SEXUAL HARASSMENT AGAINST MALE STUDENTS IN SMPN 1 PURWAKARTA
Sari, Diah Ayu Perwita
Sexual education is a skill and knowledge that needs to be given as early as possible to&#13;
children regarding sexual behavior to deal with things that will happen in the future as they get&#13;
older and form character and behavior patterns in order to be able to avoid behaviors that are&#13;
at risk of sexual harassment and deviant sexual behavior. The purpose of this Social Project is&#13;
to carry out Quality Education activities by providing a deeper understanding of Sexual&#13;
Education with our main topic, namely how to avoid Sexual Harassment which is currently&#13;
rampant around us. This social project activity was carried out at SMPN 1 Purwakarta, by&#13;
providing Quality Education through Semi Talkshow activities, showing educational videos,&#13;
Role Play, and making posters with the theme "Stop Sexual Harassment". In line with this&#13;
Social Project, there is a goal of developing Sustainable SDGs number 4 which focuses on&#13;
Quality Education, which highlights the need for a curriculum that explains more deeply about&#13;
Sexual Education so that children can avoid Sexual Harassment. Therefore, there is a&#13;
theoretical framework for this social project including SDGs and Sigmund Freud's&#13;
Psychoanalytic Theory of Sexuality, where the theory teaches us that human sexuality has a&#13;
sequence and it starts from infancy. And in this theory we are also taught that it should not be&#13;
taboo in providing Sexual Education to children from an early age so that they also know how&#13;
to avoid Sexual Harassment. The methodology used includes several stages of planning,&#13;
namely pre-project, along with post-project evaluation through survey feedback. From the&#13;
activities described above, it can make children understand in depth about Sexual Education,&#13;
besides that they can also be more protected from Sexual Harassment and can become someone&#13;
who dares to speak up or report when someone becomes a victim of sexual harassment. To add&#13;
a sense of satisfaction to this project, there is a report involving teachers and a committee on&#13;
the positive impact of development on children. Projects that implement learning that is directly&#13;
supervised by Psychology experts through their activities can encourage significant&#13;
&#13;
developmental improvements in junior high school students who are currently in need of in-&#13;
depth education about Sexual Education and as preparation for them to enter a more mature&#13;
&#13;
phase. So that it can support broader goals, namely Quality Education and Sustainable&#13;
Education.

<title>THE PARADOX OF POWER: A QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS OF BASHAR AL-ASSAD’S IDIOSYNCRASY FROM 2018 TO 2024 IN THE FALL OF HIS CENTRALIZED CONTROL IN SYRIA</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/13578</link>
<description>THE PARADOX OF POWER: A QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS OF BASHAR AL-ASSAD’S IDIOSYNCRASY FROM 2018 TO 2024 IN THE FALL OF HIS CENTRALIZED CONTROL IN SYRIA
Nisa, Vina Jauharotun
The Syrian civil war had started to increasingly emanate in 2011 when the Arab&#13;
spring was rising. Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, tried to sustain his power&#13;
amidst demanding protests among societies. However, the way he managed&#13;
conflicts reflects his limitation as a political actor struggling to uphold&#13;
authoritarian resilience. This study tests the paradox of power by analyzing&#13;
Bashar al-Assad's idiosyncrasy implemented during the period of 2018 to 2024&#13;
affecting the fall of his long-standing centralized control in Syria. It utilizes a&#13;
qualitative approach employing data triangulation in order to ensure the validity&#13;
of each finding. This study proves the significant role of idiosyncrasy for the fall of&#13;
power. Besides applying Idiosyncrasy Credit Theory and Authoritarian&#13;
Leadership Theory, this research does adapt an individual level of analysis which&#13;
examines Assad’s personality and decision in shaping perseverance and erosion of&#13;
his domination. The findings underline interaction between individual actors and&#13;
structural factors in forming state dynamics. Ultimately, this study contributes to&#13;
a broad and deep understanding of authoritarian leadership on how personalized&#13;
power does not only function to sustain a leader's domination, it can even&#13;
undermine ruler’s control massively.

<title>IMPROVING CHILDREN'S CULTURAL AND ENGLISH LITERACY THROUGH DIPLOMACY SIMULATION</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/13577</link>
<description>IMPROVING CHILDREN'S CULTURAL AND ENGLISH LITERACY THROUGH DIPLOMACY SIMULATION
Mariana, Silvi
The social project “Improving Children’s Cultural and English Literacy Through Diplomacy&#13;
Simulation” is an educational program that aims to improve foreign language speaking skills,&#13;
particularly in English and cultural literacy for children through an interactive and fun method.&#13;
This program includes four primary activities, namely basic English learning, introduction to&#13;
global culture, public speaking training, and children’s diplomacy simulation based on Model&#13;
United Nations (MUN). The implementation of this program applies Participatory Approaches&#13;
Resource (PAR) approaches, including educational games, poster making, group discussion and&#13;
role playing in diplomacy simulation at the children’s level of understanding. In line with&#13;
UNESCO's Global Citizenship Education (GCED) framework, this program not only improves&#13;
&#13;
children's linguistic abilities but also fosters empathy, respect for diversity, and a sense of&#13;
responsibility as global citizens. The purpose of this program is to build children's self-confidence,&#13;
improve foreign language skills so they can communicate across cultures and raise awareness of the&#13;
importance of tolerance. The findings indicate that the program has been effective in creating a&#13;
pleasant learning atmosphere and in helping children understand the importance of tolerance,&#13;
mutual respects and tolerance openness to differences. The evaluation results also show a&#13;
significant improvement in children's English literacy, as they are now able to use a wider&#13;
vocabulary, construct simple sentences, and are more confident in reading and writing English&#13;
words.
