<description>"THE PHILIPPINE RESPONE TOWARDS CHINA'S MILITARY IN MAINTAINING NATIONAL TERRITORIAL SOVEREIGNTY OF PHILIPPINE (20216-2020)"
Erlangga, Satria Kusuma

<description>THE PRACTICE OF WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION DISPUTE SETTLEMENT MECHANISM BETWEEN CHINA AND EUROPEAN UNION DISPUTE ON ANTI-DUMPING DUTY OF CHINA ON HIGH-PERFORMANCE STAINLESS STEEL SEAMLESS TUBES (HP-SSST) IN THE YEAR OF 2013-2016
Abraham, Rey
The growing trend of free trade faces challenges in proving the just and fair  principle. Research has shown that it happens because the state has an interest to gain the largest benefit from the trade activity, which could potentially harm the other party. Once harm happens and disputes occur, an effective third party is needed to mediate the issue. Therefore, the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) as an agreement transformed the World Trade Organization (WTO) as an entity. This study aims to investigate how international organizations can deliver a mutually satisfactory solution to the disputing stakeholders, understand the mechanism of WTO DSB, and their response to the study case provided. Based on a review of literature and contestation of theories, an assessment is done to answer the objective of the research.  &#13;
Analysis of the WTO respond towards the study case of High-Performance Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes (HP-SSST) dispute between the European Union (EU) and China on anti-dumping duty imposed by China demonstrated the suitability of WTO as a functioning international organization that embodies the role, function, and characteristic of an IO. Through the perspective of functionalism and international organization, the WTO through the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB), is found effective and qualified in adjudicating disputes and recommending solutions. In addition, the solution has been implemented by China and proven that WTO has the authority to bind the member with the rulings.

<title>INDONESIAN AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT: AN ANALYSIS OF JOKOWI’S POLICY TO FOOD SOVEREIGNTY AND SUSTAINABILITY (2014-2019)</title>
<link>http://repository.president.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/9488</link>
<description>INDONESIAN AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT: AN ANALYSIS OF JOKOWI’S POLICY TO FOOD SOVEREIGNTY AND SUSTAINABILITY (2014-2019)
Dzulhidany, Andi Amirah
This study aims to describe President Joko Widodo's efforts to achieve food security targets in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 2 through developing the agricultural sector and striving for food sovereignty. Proceeding from this goal, this research takes the following research questions "How is the implementation of Indonesia's food policy under Jokowi's presidency in ensuring food sovereignty and sustainability?" In answering research questions, the author will use institutionalism theory with the Top-Down Model Approach. Institutionalism theory underlies how government institutions, as top-level government officials make policies to overcome existing problems. The Top-Down Model Approach is then used to analyze the factors that underlie the efforts of the Indonesian Government in realizing food sovereignty through agricultural development and stakeholder involvement in policies and programs implementation, also its implementation to the farmers as the food producers. Because there is no index for food sovereignty, the indicators in the RPJMN and Law no. 18/2012, namely food sovereignty as an effort to meet food security independently and the welfare of farmers, are used as a reference in analyzing what efforts have been made by the government to achieve food security following national goals and is a measure of the success of the President Jokowi presidency in implementing its food policy. Through this study, the authors found that food sovereignty efforts refer to three development missions in formulating programs and policies, such as; (1) self-sufficiency; (2) sustainability; (3) and farmers' welfare. These programs and policies are aimed at increasing food availability, increasing physical and economic access to facilitate the affordability of food resources for the community, and encouraging better food utilization to meet national dietary and nutritional needs.
