MOBILE APPLICATION FOR SKIN CARE PERSONALIZATION AT JASMINE BEAUTY CLINIC USING ANDROID

Abstract

People are often confused to choose the right product and treatment for their face, especially when they are having facial skin problem. Products or treatments that not suitable with skin condition can worsen the skin. Therefore, facial skin problems should be handled by professional doctor called the dermatologist. Jasmine Beauty Clinic is a beauty clinic that serves consultation on facial skin problems, provide facial treatments, and selling skin care products. Patients who want to have consultation, treatments, and buy skin care products must come to the clinic with limited time. Patients are required to have a consultation with dermatologist before getting treatment or buy products, but they have to wait long enough to get a consultation because of the large number of patients. Often some patients cannot have consultations because the dermatologist’s schedule is full. Based on this problem, an Android-based application is created to analyze the skin type they have and get recommendation on which product and treatment they are supposed to use. The application has features such as skin analysis, give product and treatment recommendation, book skin care products, and schedule a treatment. For patients, this application can help in booking skin care products, schedule a treatment, and have consultation without having to come to the clinic. For the clinic, this application can help accelerate operational activities, promote the products in a better way and attracts more customers.
