dc.description.abstract Every year, university issues certificates to the graduated students as the proof of their skill and completion of their degree. These certificates issued by the university can be counterfeit. In long term, this can have a negative impact on the education system as a whole. This thesis will discuss the implementation of blockchain and digital signature technology in an education field where the university can issue a new certificate to the graduated student that cannot be counterfeited by storing the certificate data that has been signed with the university private key in the blockchain. Therefore, it makes it easy for the employer to verify and trust the authenticity of the certificate sent by the job applicants through the system. en_US
