Abstract

Technology has advanced with years and it has changed the way we purchase products, the way we live, the way we communicate, the way we travel, the way we learn and so many changes have been brought about by these continuous technological advancements. As people’s demands and life style change, the demand for advancing the type of technology we use is high. Technological advancements also have helped businesses and organizations to save time and cost of production, which has been an advantage to all businesses. Android is the most powerful, and the most widely used mobile-based operating system. Its user-friendly features and speed have become the reasons of many people using it. This thesis will take the advantage of android application to help laundry services business development. This thesis will develop an android online laundry services application that supports QR Code to pay and identify the orders, real time tracking laundry picker location, real time tracking order status, laundry items descriptions that allows the users to describe each item of their laundry to prevent accidentally exchange or the loss of their laundry items and delivery services manager that will allow the users as customers to get delivery services if they are nearby.
