dc.description.abstract Obtaining data from electricity meters owned by PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is required on a routine basis. This activity is mostly compiled manually by sending staff to customer premises. So, that time spending is the main problem. This thesis work is developing a new system based on the Internet of Things which automate the current system on its postpaid electricity meter so that they can be used efficiently. This system consists of two parts, the first is a device and the second is a web application. Required output features and functionality about the application are identified before designing the system. Coding is written base on the design result. Unit test followed by integration test will be conducted to measure whether iteration steps are required or not. en_US
