EXPENSES TRACKER MOBILE APPLICATION BY SCANNING RECEIPT

Abstract

Nowadays, technology plays an important role in people’s life. It is used in all different fields, expected to continue improving over time and make daily tasks easier to perform. One of the most popular technology that have been used by people nowadays is smartphone. People use it on daily basis to assist their works and activities. Not only as communication tools, it also has become a tool to help people do their tasks. With the development of smartphone, it is possible the small handy devices could help people stay disciplined to organize their finances. This thesis aims to develop a mobile application to help people manage and track their expenses by taking a picture of their receipt from their smartphone. This application is expected to be helpful for people who are difficult to manage their expenses and to achieve their financial goal.
