NETWORK DEFENSE SYSTEM MONITORING THROUGH A MOBILE APPLICATION

Abstract

The Internet is evolving with immense speed. When accessing the internet, there must be a security protocol in every devices. Network security is an important aspect that consists of the protocols derived by the network administrator to protect the network, build upon deep understanding of network infrastructure. Information is an asset that must be protected. Network security is more challenging than ever, therefore every device with internet implication are not perfectly secure. The attacker is able to penetrate the device despite only with one security hole. Imagine if the users is away from their device and doesn’t know if somebody is trying to attack. This thesis objective is to help user to protect and secure their device or computer including private information, files, or any data within the device through a mobile application that able to monitor their device from far away. By using the recent human behavior of carrying a mobile device, this thesis using this advantage to mitigate any possible threat that coming from the internet.
