dc.description.abstract Air pollution is one of the major environmental issues. It can cause adverse health effects such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases and high mortality rates. High population density is a huge contributory factor of air pollution in cities and urbanized areas. Based on this problem, an Android-based application is created to monitoring the air quality and temperature in the nearest area with the microcontroller sensors. The application has features such as view air quality and temperature, display the air quality and temperature chart monthly, and display the sensor’s location. For the user, this application can help the user to check the air quality and temperature in their area, because the air quality sensor on the market is inefficient, usually big, heavy, and the price is relatively expensive. en_US
