IMPLEMENTING TRANSPORTATION EFFICIENCY USING GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM ON ANDROID APPLICATION

Abstract

Online transportation is very familiar nowadays. Along with the technology development of public transportation, some people are interested in using online transportation that because more practice and efficient. There are some activities of online transportation. Like a business of online shopping, delivery restaurant, logistic services, and many transportation services. This thesis, Seize, will discuss the development of efficiency transportation. This application is expected to be able to create the route by driver and users can see the position of driver by create the route in the same area or nearest position of the driver. There are two types of order by users. There are single person and one trip person. The type of single person is for sharing car and one trip person is for personal order. The route is automatic set and match when the users in the same area. During the order process, the driver may see the position of passengers without changing the original route. This application is expected to be able to please people who like online transportation.
