WEB BASED ORDERING BOOK USING INFORMATION RETRIEVAL

Abstract

In this modern era, the way of purchasing book is not only by coming to the bookstore and purchase it, but also purchasing via online bookstore that has developed so many. That matter can give easier to buyers for view and choose, the purchasing the right book. Example of online bookstrore is periplus and amazon. Furthemore there are many online bookstore that showing up. Online bookstore itself can save buyer’s time by no need to go to boostore. This thesis will develop web based application a ordering book using information retrieval for the people in indonesia. This will give the user convenience to search for books that are desired by using words that are in the book and displaying books that match what is sought by the user. The main focus is to give user convenience of using the application.
