Abstract:
Technology improvements are linearly linked to time and time-related issues. It has
also been shown over time that the number of problems people are facing is increasing.
However, the techniques for solving these problems also tend to improve. One of the early
problems that began with the discovery of the vehicle was parking. The ease of using
technology to solve these problems has evolved over the years, but the parking problem has
not yet been solved. The main reason for this is that parking is not a single issue, but a series
of issues in itself. One of these issues is the detection of parking space occupancy in the
distributed parking ecosystem. In a distributed system, users will find preferred parking lots
rather than random parking lots. In this final project, we propose a system as a solution for
parking space detection in various parking spaces. This solution solves the occupancy
detection problem by allowing users to make block decisions based on availability and
preferences. The evaluation results of the proposed system are promising and efficient. The
proposed system can also be integrated with other systems and used to solve other related
parking problems.
