dc.description.abstract Long A long queue is an unpleasant situation formed during rush hour. It could happen anywhere and often happens in a store. On a hectic day, the customer must wait in line to be billed for their purchases. Moreover, the cashier performs manual billing by scanning items' barcodes one by one. These activities are a complete waste of time. Furthermore, because of the Covid-19 epidemic, manual billing could be dangerous since it involves physical contacts during the transaction. This situation is currently prevented. The primary objective of this work is to reduce queue times and make as little interaction as possible. This project creates an automated and time-saving technology for the retail industry that will improve customers' shopping experience and keep track of purchased products. A smart cart is proposed to generate a bill from the cart itself. The consumer will instantly make the payment from their user card. The smart cart uses a combination of RFID technology and NodeMCU. It has some features to add the item, cancel or remove it, and make payment directly on the cart. Customers may also view their purchase history on the mobile application. Besides, they can manage their profile and view their balance amount on the mobile application. Every product in this system will have its RFID tag, and each cart will have an RFID reader. This breakthrough technology will assist retailers in delighting their consumers. en_US
