DEVELOPMENT OF WEB-BASED “WARUNG” TRANSACTION AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

“Warung” exists to help people who want to shop for their daily needs who live in areas that are quite far from supermarkets. The goods traded are also quite diverse, ranging from basic necessities, snacks, household needs, to other things such as cigarettes. Because the number of products sold by these grocery store traders is quite large and varied, while records of their goods and debt data are only stored using paper media, it is very likely that these records can be lost or damaged. This can lead to a decrease in the amount of revenue in the long run, which in turn will have an impact on the success of the grocer in increasing their sales. This project was created to address this problem. By creating an Transactaion and Inventory Management System, it is hoped that the traders can easily access and store data on goods and debts with ease.
