IMPLEMENTATION OF LARAVEL FRAMEWORK IN MANUFACTURING PROCESS CONTROL APPLICATIONS BY UTILIZING MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEM (MES)

Abstract

In the case of PT. Omron Manufacturing Indonesia (OMI) aged process flow that cause inefficiency should be eliminated. This is including flow of the information between each division that involved in manufacturing process. Moreover, in current industry 4.0 where it comes to automation, the controlled process can be done effortlessly. Decisions can be made by directly monitoring the conditions that occur on the production floor through the system. One of the systems is Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This system advance manufacturing processes to be tracked and documented systematically. It is also tracking the transformation of raw material to finished goods. Therefore, I intended to develop manufacturing control application by utilizing MES. Furthermore, this application will be developed by using Laravel framework with composer dependency and MySQL database as the backend support. I expected this application can advance users or human resources to work effortlessly in controlling the manufacturing processes. Even more on helping them to evaluate and make decision in shorter time. Thus, the time cost for each process will be more effective and efficient.
