BUILD WEB APPLICATION FOR SENTIMENT ANALYSIS OF NETIZEN COMMENTS IN TWITTER OVER PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES USING BIDIRECTIONAL-LSTM (LONG SHORT-TERM MEMORY)

Abstract

The growth number of the universities each year becomes one of the challenges for high school graduates or prospective students in determining which university they want to join. Although there are many trusted sources, but often, public’s opinions are also one of the additional factors that could be the consideration of prospective students and their parents in choosing a university. Most people usually share their experiences in social media, in the hopes that information can be spread widely and quickly to the public. From this background, web-based application hopefully built for analyzing netizen’s comments in Twitter towards universities in order to help them in determining the university by seeing the results of the analysis from this application as references. This final project will focus more on discussing private universities in Jabodetabek (Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi). The technique that will be used here is by using Bidirectional-LSTM.
