DEVELOPMENT PROCUREMENT APPLICATION SYSTEM BY USING VISUAL BASIC

Abstract

With the number of industries that exist and are developing now, many companies want to increase their production to increase income by doing work faster. In this era, technology is very advanced and can be used to help human work, and can make human work faster, easier, and more efficient. With existing technology, there are many fields of work that will certainly take advantage of technology in their work, one of which is the procurement industry. This thesis will discuss the management system for processing data and documents in the company's procurement system. However, in this final project, the researcher will discuss the procurement system in small companies. The method and analysis technique used in this study is a Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, by looking at the needs and business objectives of the company. So in this final project, the researcher will discuss the procurement system in a company so that the company has a good data processing system and the data inputted can be more integrated from one part to another without having to re-input each part of the existing parts, and data storage as well. to be better and tidy and also be able to prepare documents so that workers in this company can have neat data without having to type them by themselves. This application will be developed through visual basic programming and database storage using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2018. This system will make data processing easier and integrated and reduce paper usage, this system will make it easier for workers to process data.
