COLLABORATIVE RECOMMENDATION BY USING KNN AND MATRIX FACTORIZATION

Abstract

Book is media where someone record the information in the form of text or images, typically composed in many pages. During the COVID-19 pandemic various activity of people need do in online and to get rid of the boredom, people do several activities such as watch movie, read book, playing game etc. But people sometimes need the recommendation to do that thing. So, to fulfill that people need something to helping them for recommendation the things, commonly people asking they friends or even googling the things but it inefficient and take long time for do that. This final project aims to create the recommendation system for library website that ease the people not just check availability the book but also recommend the book to the people by the same read book or even the other people rating. The final output of this final project is expected to escalate efficiency of recommendation things and enhance people’s experience in searching recommendation process.
