DEVELOPMENT OF THE 5S AUDIT AND SAFETY (SAFETY PATROL) INFORMATION SYSTEM ANDROID PLATFORM AT PT. IK PRECISION INDONESIA

Abstract

Along with technological developments, smartphones also contribute to growth in it. Many companies still use the manual method/using paper to record their cleanliness check and assessment process. PT. IK Precision Indonesia is one of the parties wanting to make the best efforts utilizing technology. Therefore, it is believed that the company will start using the application of the scoring system as a form of company in keeping abreast of technological developments. Good checking and assessment methods can have a good impact on companies in maintaining a clean and safe environment. This final project will discuss the to develop of a mobile-based application to carry out the process of checking and evaluating cleanliness or 5S Audit and Safety at PT. IK Precision Indonesia effectively. The system will function to check if there is damage to goods that occur in the company. And assess how safe and clean the environment is in the company. The author will provide a good rating system so that employees can easily input the assessment. In the end, the cleanliness and security of the company can be well controlled by the Team to produce an application-based 5S Audit and Safety assessment system for the company and websites that are used by the admin function to add users, manage data history, and master data.
