Abstract:
CV. Masa Jaya Tani is a shop selling all kinds of plant seeds, all types of
fertilizers, and plant and herbal medicines which was established in 2015, currently
CV.Masa Jaya Tani has started to decline in sales because CV.Masa Jaya Tani is still
using documentation manually in terms of managing data and sales reports, which at
any time errors can occur in terms of recording reports or calculations. In this final
project the author will build a system that is integrated with computers so that in
terms of managing data and sales reports it becomes more effective, efficient and
also accurate.Where the method used by the author is a web-based POS (Point of
Sale) information system using the programming language PHP and MySQL as data
storage.This Point Of Sale website will be used by cashiers at the CV. Masa Jaya
Tani store to facilitate buying and selling transactions between buyers so that
transaction reports will be perfect without any mistakes.In this case the head of the
CV.Masa Jaya Tani store can monitor or analyze the situation of increasing sales
transactions by checking reports at the Point Of Sale in real-time.The results of
research conducted by the Point Of Sale system have been going well, being able to
document recording of sales data reports more accurately and the sequence of sales
transactions has also become smoother when there are lots of visitors at the CV. Masa Jaya Tani
