Abstract:
This thesis explores the development of DreamScape AR, an augmented reality
(AR) application aimed at improving sleep by creating relaxing environments using AR
technology. The application offers various serene scenes like beaches and forests,
combined with soothing sounds to help users fall asleep quicker and improve sleep quality.
The project involved designing, testing, and evaluating DreamScape AR, focusing on its
ease of use and effectiveness in enhancing nighttime relaxation.
Significant findings indicate that DreamScape AR successfully helps users achieve
better sleep quality and experience greater nighttime relaxation. User feedback was
overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the application's potential as a therapeutic tool. This
research underlines the effectiveness of AR in sleep therapy and suggests potential
expansions into other areas of health and wellness.
