In today's digital era, impulsive consumer behavior, influenced by pervasive advertising
and ever-changing trends, leads to the accumulation of underused possessions in
households, posing challenges for both individuals and the environment. Barter trade, as
an alternative economic model, encounters hurdles in its contemporary application,
particularly concerning the exchange of goods. The inefficiencies and inconveniences
associated with traditional barter systems have hindered their adoption and effectiveness
in modern society. This study aims to address these challenges by examining the efficacy
of digital platforms in enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of barter trading. By
leveraging technology, digital barter systems can potentially transform the way goods are
exchanged, offering a more sustainable and user-friendly approach. The main focus of
this study revolves around two key features: the Intuitive Swipe Feature and the Auto
Recommendation Based on Location. These features are designed to streamline the barter
process, making it easier for users to find and exchange items that meet their needs and
preferences. By exploring the impact of these innovations, this study seeks to contribute
to the development of more effective and sustainable barter systems in the digital age. |
