Abstract:
Efficient and accurate stock opname processes are critical components of effective operational
management in various industries, particularly in inventory management. This thesis, titled
"DineStock: Optimizing Stock Opname Processes Through Management Information System to
Enhance Operational Efficiency," aims to develop and implement a management information
system that can enhance the efficiency of stock opname processes and reduce errors in inventory
management.
The research employs both quantitative and qualitative approaches to analyze the effectiveness of
the proposed information system. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and document
analysis in the company under study. The results indicate that the implementation of the designed
management information system significantly improves the accuracy and efficiency of stock
opname processes. The system also successfully reduces the time required to complete the stock
opname process and increases user satisfaction in daily operations.
The findings of this study demonstrate that developing a management information system tailored
to the operational needs of the company can effectively address issues of efficiency and accuracy
in stock opname. Thus, the implementation of this system is expected to contribute positively to
the overall operational performance of the company.
