dc.description.abstract Smart Fire Evacuation System is designed in a mobile-based application called Smart Evac. The purpose of making this application is to minimize the impact that will result from a fire disaster by sending early warnings of fire hazards to users, and can convey information related to fire disasters accurately and easily understood by users. Smart Evac is an application used to send notifications of fire indications. Using IoT (Internet of Things) technology in the form of using sensors connected to the network (Wi-Fi) so that it can send real-time data or information to Users. In terms of fire detection, the system is equipped with supporting hardware. To detect the presence of fire, the system uses a flame sensor. And to detect smoke or gas that appears during a fire event, the system uses an MQ-2 sensor. When detecting a fire, the user can also see the location of the fire point, which is the location where the sensor is active triggered by the presence of fire, gas, or smoke. The system can also display the shortest evacuation route for Users. Thus it is hoped that the Smart Evac application can minimize casualties due to fires that occur. en_US
