CLIMATE PROJECT IN INDONESIA APPLICATION BY IMPLEMENTING THE API CONSUME IN MOBILE APP USING FLUTTER FRAMEWORK

Abstract

In the digital era where the information is gathered easily within the people’s around, technology become more advance nowadays. The same case happened to developer that are become easier to develop the application, regarding the source and material that easy to access, as well as for learning deeply for developing progress. Each of the developer occasionally have their preference for their programming language and the extensions for the equipment of accomplish. This situation might create a gap between the developers to integration their data within others. The developer might face the challenge related to the cross-application platform. Furthermore, the developer has to master or at least know every update of new programming language, in the terms of making the other application platform. From this case, the study discovers that using the REST API can help the developer’s challenge regarding accessing the data and build the other application platform. This project will show how important API to unify the different platform application just by accessing the API link, then the developer can modify the data in the new platform that are just created. By understanding the API and selecting the better platform, there is no longer gap between different platform that is helpful for the developer to switch the application platform, as well as the newcomers that just started to learn.
