FURNIFIT: INTERIOR FURNITURE ASSISTANT

Abstract

The furniture industry has grown rapidly because of technological revolutionary, particularly when it comes to purchasing furniture online. However, the transition to online furniture shopping presents a major challenge, which that customers unable to see the products directly due to visual limitations. Due to the need for accurate physical measurements, conventional measuring tools are less effective for online furniture shopping. As a result, the risk of purchasing errors and aesthetic incompatibility increases. Therefore, the aim of this project is to improve the user experience with furniture by providing a solution that allows customers to view and evaluate furniture more comprehensively according to their living area. Using the Augmented Reality (AR) and Recommendation technology to this project, it will seamless the application utilization. This solution is expected to be able to overcome the challenges of online furniture shopping and provide a more satisfying experience for customers.
