dc.description.abstract |
This project is a furniture visualization application designed for the general
public. The main goal is to display furniture in 3D visuals that can be positioned and
arranged in its original size in the client's private place to minimize errors in furniture
selection and the ineffectiveness of traditional furniture placement. Apart from that, this
application also provides a customized furniture recommendation feature based on the
client's furniture needs preferences.
This application was developed by implementing AR technology which is
accessed via the website to provide wider and easier accessibility. The main feature of
this application is AR furniture which contains a list of furniture models, general
furniture details, and AR initiation. AR initiation provides a 3D model visualization
experience in their living spaces so that clients can review furniture placement and
reduce errors and ineffectiveness in selecting and placing furniture in the living space.
In conclusion, this project provides a solution to modernize the process of
selecting furniture and its placement which indirectly has a positive influence on the
furniture industry by simplifying the process of selecting furniture and making
purchasing decisions. |
