| dc.description.abstract | The digital evolution of the furniture industry poses challenges in accurately viewing and measuring furniture, which often leads to costly and time-consuming purchasing mistakes. FurniFit provides a solution using augmented reality (AR) in an easily accessible web application, allowing users to measure, visualize and evaluate real- time furniture layout in their home . The initiative aims to improve the user experience by simplifying the furniture selection process, providing comprehensive product information, and providing design suggestions based on user preferences. Although testing confirmed the basic capabilities of FurniFit, there are still performance issues such as latency that need to be addressed and improved. FurniFit has great potential in the interior design and furniture retail industries. Through continuous development, FurniFit can change the practice of furniture selection and arrangement with advanced AR technology. | en_US |
