WEB BASED COFFEE SHOP BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING OPENERP V8

Abstract

Goal: In this final project an implementation of OpenERP v8 created by ODOO is implemented in local coffee shop business establishment. Using python django as it’s main framework to serve frontend and backend. As for the modules that implemented are Human Resources module, Point of Sales module, Sales Management module, Purchase Management module, Document module, Warehouse module, and other required modules for each functions to work as intended. Benefit: The benefit of the proposed work is to enable local coffee shop establishment thant being the topic of this final project gains more sales opportunity and increase efficiency by using the system implemented in this project. Furthermore. This project can help other coffee shop owners or similar business establishment to implement similar proposed project or used this work on their own use cases. Method The approach utilized to achieve the project goal is by no means as previously researched approach like Singgalen, Y. A. (2024). The approach utilized in this project are repurposing open existing solution such as OpenERP v8 and modify them to fit the project needs and SQL Database such as PostgresSQL with online public API to manage other establishment that might not be near the main establishment. Results: By using the proposed method, the results gain are faster development time, faster implementation, and reduced learning curve compared to designing the system from scratch.
