dc.description.abstract In this final project a technological approach for monitoring overall engine effectiveness is reviewed. Using Web technologies as a monitoring tool allowing this system able to be monitored everywhere as long the device supports web browsing capabilities. Furthermore, with extra additional hardware this system can also work as a remote to start and stop the selected engine. The proposed work aims to facilitate the straightforward calculation of daily machine or engine availability, performance, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) values, which will subsequently be displayed on a web-based dashboard for easy monitoring and daily reporting. By implementing this system, organizations can gain real-time insights into their operational efficiency, allowing them to identify trends and patterns that affect productivity. The dashboard will serve as a centralized platform where users can access critical metrics at a glance, enabling quick assessments of machine performance and immediate recognition of any issues that may arise. Additionally, this approach not only streamlines the reporting process but also enhances decision-making capabilities by providing comprehensive data analysis. With accurate calculations of availability, performance, and quality, companies can pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for improvement, ultimately leading to reduced downtime and optimized production processes. The visibility offered by the webbased dashboard empowers teams to respond promptly to any production challenges, fostering a proactive maintenance culture that minimizes disruptions. Overall, this method enhances operational transparency and drives continuous improvement, contributing to better resource management and increased profitability in the long run. By employing the proposed method, the benefits are substantial and far-reaching. The results include easy reporting, enhanced collaboration between company divisions, and faster reaction time to handle production or engine mishaps that might occur on daily production. The application provides seamless and intuitive reporting capabilities, enabling users to quickly and accurately generate reports that are essential for decision-making and strategic planning. This feature simplifies the reporting process, saving time and reducing errors. Furthermore, the application fosters collaboration between different company divisions, facilitating the sharing of information and knowledge. This improved communication and coordination lead to better decision-making, increased productivity, and enhanced overall performance.
