Abstract:
Due to the high competition between Food & Beverage businesses, in order to win the
competition, a business needs to build a brand identity so that the business brand name is more
recognized by the public. In this case, the innovation step that can be taken is to build a website
that can be easily accessed on the internet, to disseminate catering orders that can be accessed
through the website system. Based on the explanation above, a website is needed that contains
information about restaurants and also ordering large amounts of web-based food catering for
customers in order to reduce the difficulties faced by customers and workers in restaurants.
In designing a website, of course, there are several supporting factors that need to be
considered. This restaurant information system with catering is made using the Windows
operating system as a container for creating applications using PHP and MySQL as a database.
in addition to disseminating catering programs, this program allows users to input data, edit
data, delete data, search for data, for catering purposes and print data to paper media. The data
inputted is in the form of customer name data, cellphone number data, and address data.
This information system for catering in restaurants can be one of the solutions that can
be used to disseminate business and also facilitate the catering ordering process in processing
goods data, creating sales reports, and sending catering ordering reports for business needs.
