INVENTORY MANAGAMENT SPAREPART FOR PT.JFE STEEL GALVANIZING INDONESIA

Abstract

This project develops a web-based inventory management system specifically designed for PT. JFE Steel Galvanizing Indonesia to manage spare part stock efficiently. The system replaces manual inventory methods such as spreadsheets that are prone to human error, delays, and additional operational costs. The web application enables real-time tracking of incoming and outgoing items, supports QR code-based item registration, and allows staff to access inventory data. The system is designed to minimize errors, streamline the item input process, and improve stock visibility across departments. The results show that the system supports real-time tracking, simplifies item registration, and enhances inventory transparency. This project is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce unnecessary expenses, and support faster, more accurate decision-making. The inventory system can serve as a model for other businesses seeking to modernize their inventory management processes through web-based technology.
