Abstract:
In this new era of digitalization, employment candidates are generally not
capable of overcoming conventional manual hiring procedures still being followed by
various companies, including PT Ishiguro Indonesia. These kinds of processes—such
as e-mail sent applications, scheduled interviews by hand, and unstructured storage of
data—are hard for candidates to track their status, cause redundant information, and
reduce transparency and clarity through the screening stages.
The aim of this study is to create and implement a web-based recruitment
information system with a PhpMyAdmin database. The system is meant to provide the
applicants with an ease of experience, whereby they would register, upload documents,
and conduct online tests via an easy-to-navigate interface.
The test outcome indicates that the system functions as expected and offers a
more effective, faster, and transparent process for candidates. Continuous improvement
such as the addition of notification features, application status tracking, and
mobilization makes this system a probable choice as a modern solution in supporting
job seekers to navigate the process of hiring with ease and in an organized manner.
