Abstract:
The share market is the most important element in economy and plays a vital role in the growth of economy key sector and influencing the economic condition in a country. Therefore, the expectation for the share market is it could give the information needed by the investors in deciding the action in investment. This fact will make the development of the share market as the place of trading securities increase, and it opens the opportunity for the entity to raise the funds and for investors to do an investment. The entity’s goals in issuing shares are to get funds, developing the business and suspending the future business process, where this circumstance will show the prospect of the entity for it can finance its investment and be an efficient party in allocating the funds to the productive sectors.
Samples in this study is consumer goods - manufacture entities listed in IDX within 2010 – 2014, which have profits. The dependent variable in this research is share price. The share price in this research is using closing price set by IDX. The independent variables are DER, ROE, ROA, and EPS. The data analysis method is using descriptive statistic, classic assumption test, hypothesis test, and coefficient multiple determination. The results of this research are DER influences significant negatively; ROE influences significant positively; ROA influences insignificant positively; and EPS influences insignificant positively toward share price.
