Abstract:
Previously, companies only concern about their profit. They only focus their activities in generating profit that bring them to ignore the social and environment aspects. Every company actually has social and environment responsibility which commonly known as CSR. In the state-owned company, CSR is called PKBL (Program Kemitraan dan Bina Lingkungan -Partnership and Community Development Program). The objectives of this research are to determine the method and implementation of PKBL, to assess whether the program has run according to regulations of government, to evaluate the methods that PT.Jamsostek used for PKBL programs and to identify any weakness in the PKBL program.
This is qualitative research about Evaluation of the Implementation “Program Kemitraan dan Bina Lingkungan” (PKBL) at PT.Jamsostek. The company is insurance company located in Cikarang, Bekasi. The researcher collected and processed the data through audit procedures such as Inquiry of the client, Documentation, Observation and Confirmation.
From the research, the researcher has found some strengths and weaknesses. The strengths are the company already do the regulations of government as well and the program effectively. The weaknesses are the company still has the problems such as lack of control from Progsus staff and Progsus staff are not selective enough in selecting loan recipient.
To overcome the problems, the company conduct regular training programs about PKBL program before giving PKBL fund and Progsus staff should be more selective in field survey to prevent the loan recipient that is not eligible will have full credit.
