A restaurant is a place where people can order and enjoy their food or drinks with a charge. Usually, the restaurant received an order directly when the user came to or receive a reservation request created before by customers. There are various method that can be used by restaurant to enable customer creating a reservation request, for example by phone call, text message, utilizing social media chat feature or application that provide reservation management feature. Buying an application sometimes may require high cost and risk of changing the current business process to fit in with the application, while creating your application cost and needs for expertise can also become very high depending on the feature and system the application will be based on. Therefore this research intends to develop software more specific a mobile application that will help the restaurant manage their reservation. In hope that customer will feel more comfortable creating the reservation because they can do it from their smartphones. Reservations records, track, and reporting also will be more effective and efficient because of several features provided by application such as check reservation status, upload payment, and check payment proof. |
