Abstract:
Nowadays, the development of technology and information is developing very fast. This has an impact on convenience in various fields of work, including employment in terms of professional certification. PT.XYZ is a professional certification institute engaged in medical devices and is one of the certification bodies in Indonesia which has granted certification licenses to more than thousands of employees and operators. The method and analysis technique used in this study is the SWOT analysis, by looking at the needs and business objectives of the company. Quite a lot of customers need certification services to support operations and also trust their employees. With quite a lot of certification requests, an information system media is needed. This information system media makes it easy for related sections to manage certification participant or customer data in conducting certification activities. With the existing Excel-based system, data duplication and processes take so long. Therefore it is necessary to design and build an information system service. In making this information system using a website-based system with PHP and MYSQL programming languages as the database. The existence of this information system is expected to make it easier for related parties to manage data and certification activities quickly and accurately.
