dc.description.abstract COVID-19 pandemic causes many instant big changes. This COVID-19 can be easily infecting many people. One of the common symptoms is fever. Indonesia government created policy PSBB and New Normal. Many of small policies already created, one of them is it’s a must to get temperature check before the visitor can enter the public building. Security guard often becomes the temperature checker and when the visitor becomes more crowded the queue can be very long. However, becoming the front-line temperature checker can be dangerous for the security guard. The objective of this thesis research is creating the automatic barrier gate with a contactless thermometer to solve front-line temperature checker risk problem in all public building. The machine will open the barrier gate if the visitor temperature is below 38℃ and the LED lamp will show green light but if the visitor temperature has a fever and his or her temperature is greater than 38℃ the barrier gate will not open, LED lamp will show a red light and the speaker will give warning sound. The visitor data and temperature will be saved in the server database. If the Wi-Fi connection is not available, there is putty system that backing up by convert data become csv and admin can upload it manually. en_US
