dc.description.abstract Trash is one of many major factor for most environmental damage. Each day people can produce over 4 pounds of trash. Though the number of population keep increasing, impacting the number of people who produce trash each day. People tend to litter, instead keep the environment clean. To prevent it, the government have a solution by implementing and producing some of trash bin and divide it into several types such as organic, non-organic, and plastic. But people tend to randomly put their trash to trash bin. This application will help the people whose reusing the trash by sorting the trash based on its material. If a person put their trash in this trash material detection, it will automatically detect the type material of trash and send the info to the mobile application. This application will use Inductive proximity sensor for detecting the metal material of the trash and Ultrasonic sensor for detecting the non-metal materials such as plastic, paper, and glass. en_US
