dc.description.abstract Air pollution is the major environmental issues. It can cause adverse health effects such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases and high mortality rates. High population density is a huge contributory factor of air pollution in cities and urbanized areas In Indonesia especially Jakarta, the threshold for air pollution is very alarming. Or we can take an example in Palangkaraya, whose PM 2.5 value has reached 1600. Insane number for a class of air pollution measurements. Air pollution like this can also lurk around us. Sometimes we forget that the use of motor vehicles also contributes to higher air pollution rates. Moreover PM 10 and PM 2.5 particles whose visuals are invisible but the effect is very deadly. Therefore, the creation of a PM 2.5 detector with mobile based view tool is very helpful for people, especially urban people who are exposed to PM 2.5 every day or people who live in areas prone to forest fires so that they can find out the poor air condition as early as possible so as not to impact on more serious health effects. en_US
