THE EFFECT OF IMPLEMENTATION OF GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE TOWARD FIRM VALUE THROUGH FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE (Study On BUMN Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2016 Period)

Abstract

This study aims to test and find evidence of the influence of corporate governance and firm value and mediated by financial performance. In this study, the data population used a State-Owned company that publishes in rupiah currency and is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and data collection using purposive sampling method. The total of 20 companies with a total of 60 samples from 2014-2016 are used as research data. The method of analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that corporate governance has no significant effect on firm value. While the relationship between corporate governance with firm value mediated by financial performance showed a significant influence.
