CAR RECOMMENDATION USING FUZZY-MAMDANI LOGIC

Abstract

Car is a four wheels road transportation equipped with machine power. Oil is used as a fuel of the car. A basic description of a car including have 4 wheels, one to eight seat, and transport people from one place to another place. Cars became available widely since the early of 20th century. Nowadays, people commonly using car as a main transportation. In this era, having a car can be called as a parameter of how successful people in financial matter, especially in Indonesia. By having a car, people can show their success and gain more respect. Even, government in Indonesia brings up a car with Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) category that is intended for people who have a limited budged to afford a car. Because of this thing, many car manufacturers competing to produce a car with various price and various excellence according to their target customers. This thesis intends to create a web-based application to help people in making decision for buying a car. This thesis is using Fuzzy Logic. This application will help to decided which car are suitable for the user by giving the best recommendation based on their criteria.
