RAY CASTING IMPLEMENTATION IN MOBILE ATTENDANCE BASED ON LOCATION (APPSENTION)

Abstract

In this era, technology take a big part of our life. Everything is getting easier and more efficient. This application doing so many things online, such as; shopping, ordering food and checking location with online. Mobile phone is one of the platforms that provides these things all happen. Almost everyone using mobile phone especially for employees. Mobile phone is able to change the conventional way of doing attendance. It can give many benefits for company such as more efficient, low cost, more integrated, etc. This thesis will discuss about a Mobile Application as a tool to do an attendance. The purpose of this thesis is to help a company manage their employees. The employees can only set present if they are inside the building. To make the feature works, this thesis uses location and maps. The building will be drawn in map and employee will be checked by using ray casting algorithm.
