dc.description.abstract The growth of the technology is unavoidable and this will affect the cost of the hardware of the network laboratory. A virtual network laboratory can be an alternative solution to solve the above problem. Thus in this thesis, developing a virtual network is proposed. NS-3 is the open source network simulator that provide some utilities to adjust the network parameters. This will give an ability of NS-3 to be used to realize network models using the latest technology. Network laboratory requirements need to be identified first. Designing chosen network models as parts of the network laboratory will be the next step after all the network models requirements has been identified. Finally, the network model is developed by using NS-3. en_US
